When choosing a camera, you want to choose one that produces a good quality image and comes at a reasonable price. For any weather photo, any DSLR is a good camera. I recommend Nikon. It is a great imaging company, and has been around for years. Nikon's main competitor is Canon, which has a good record for high performance cameras. As I said before, I purchased the D3200, which was released in 2012. It is a great camera for beginners or hobbyist. I purchased the camera for $500 from best buy, plus 2 kit lens. It was quite a deal. I recommend along with your purchase of the camera, you get more than the kit lens. The lens are very expensive, so be aware, no lens is cheap. Also make sure you purchese a tripod. This helps with stabilizing your image. It is very helpful when taking lighting photos.
